Refund Policy

When you purchase a Folt report, our system immediately begins generating it using DVLA data, DVSA MOT records, and AI analysis. The vast majority of reports are delivered within a few minutes.
In rare cases, the AI service may be temporarily unavailable. When this happens, your report is queued and we retry automatically. If we are still unable to deliver your report within 1 hour of your payment, a full refund is issued automatically to your original payment method.
Automatic Refund Timeline
- Payment received and report generation begins immediately
- If generation fails, the report is queued and retried automatically
- If not delivered within 1 hour, a full refund is triggered automatically
- Refunds are processed via our payment provider Stripe, and typically appear within 5 working days depending on your bank.
Successfully Delivered Reports
Because Folt reports are digitally generated and delivered on demand, we are unable to offer refunds once a report has been successfully generated and made available to you.
If you believe there is a significant error in your report, please contact us via our contact form and we will investigate.
Queued Reports
In some cases, if the AI service recovers before the 1-hour window expires, your report may still be generated and delivered. In this situation you will receive both your report and confirmation of delivery by email. No refund will be issued in this case as the service has been fulfilled.
If a refund has already been processed before your report is generated, you will receive the report free of charge as a goodwill gesture.
Digital Goods
Reports generated and delivered by Folt constitute digital content supplied on demand. In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, your right to cancel does not apply once delivery of digital content has begun with your prior consent. By completing your purchase you acknowledge and consent to immediate delivery of your report and confirm you understand that your cancellation right will be lost once generation begins.
Your Statutory Rights
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable UK consumer protection legislation.

If you have not received your report and have not received a refund notification after 1 hour, please contact us via our contact form and we will resolve this as a priority.
We aim to respond to all enquiries within one working day.
